1. Conference Planning and Management
1.1 Pre-Conference Preparation
- Establish the Scientific Committee responsible for reviewing submissions.
- Define the theme and scope of the conference aligned with economics and business disciplines.
- Develop a timeline for submission deadlines, peer review, and publication.
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and publication standards (COPE, ICMJE).
- Secure collaboration with universities, research institutions, and sponsors.
1.2 Call for Papers & Submission Process
- Publish a Call for Papers (CFP) on official platforms and indexing databases.
- Provide clear submission guidelines including formatting, referencing style, and ethical policies.
- Use a conference management system (e.g., Open Journal Systems, EasyChair) for paper tracking.
2. Peer Review and Quality Control
2.1 Review Process
- Implement a double-blind peer review system to ensure academic integrity.
- Assign qualified reviewers based on expertise and ensure fair evaluations.
- Establish clear criteria for acceptance, revision, or rejection of papers.
2.2 Plagiarism and Ethical Screening
- Utilize plagiarism detection software (Turnitin, iThenticate) with a maximum similarity threshold of 20%.
- Ensure all authors follow ethical research and publication guidelines.
3. Proceedings Publication & Indexing
3.1 Editing and Formatting
- Format accepted papers according to NICEBIS Proceedings Template (IEEE, APA, etc.).
- Provide DOI numbers for each paper through Crossref.
- Maintain consistency in metadata for indexing purposes.
3.2 Indexing & Archiving
- Submit proceedings for indexing in Scopus (under evaluation), Web of Science (WoS), DOAJ, Crossref, Google Scholar.
- Ensure compliance with SINTA (Indonesia), Garuda, and Moraref for national indexing.
4. Conference Execution
4.1 Technical & Logistical Setup
- Organize keynote sessions, parallel sessions, and panel discussions.
- Provide hybrid access (onsite & virtual) to increase international participation.
- Ensure smooth technical support for virtual and in-person presentations.
4.2 Post-Conference Follow-Up
- Publish proceedings within 3-6 months post-event.
- Issue certificates of participation and reviewer acknowledgments.
- Collect feedback for continuous improvement.
