For Authors
The Proceeding of National Innovation Conference on Economics and Business (NICEBIS) welcomes high-quality research contributions from academics, researchers, and professionals in the fields of economics, business, and management. Authors are encouraged to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a smooth submission and publication process.
1. Submission Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
- All submissions must follow the NICEBIS formatting template, available on the conference website.
- The paper must be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
- The length of the manuscript should be 6-12 pages, including references, tables, and figures.
- Authors must submit their papers through the official submission system (link available on the website).
2. Manuscript Structure
Each manuscript should include the following sections:
- Title: Concise and informative, reflecting the research scope.
- Abstract: A structured summary (150-250 words) including background, methods, results, and conclusion.
- Keywords: 3-5 keywords relevant to the study.
- Introduction: Background, research gap, and objectives.
- Methodology: Research design, data collection, and analysis methods.
- Results and Discussion: Findings with analysis and interpretation.
- Conclusion: Summary of findings, implications, and future research recommendations.
- References: Follow APA (7th edition) or IEEE citation style, depending on the subject area.
3. Peer Review Process
- NICEBIS follows a double-blind peer review process, ensuring fairness and academic integrity.
- Each submission is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
- Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback before final acceptance.
4. Ethics and Plagiarism Policy
- Authors must ensure that their work is free from plagiarism (similarity check using Turnitin or iThenticate, with a maximum threshold of 20%).
- All sources and references must be properly cited.
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest related to the research.
5. Publication and Indexing
- Accepted papers will be published in the NICEBIS Proceedings with an ISSN and DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
- The proceedings will be indexed in Google Scholar, DOAJ, CrossRef, and other reputable databases.
- Selected papers may be recommended for submission to partner journals.
6. Copyright and Open Access Policy
- Authors retain the copyright of their work while granting NICEBIS the right to publish and distribute it under a Creative Commons License (CC BY 4.0).
- All published papers are available open access, ensuring broad visibility and impact.
